Have you manage to fix it? My Mk5 GTI (EA113, ~111k miles, mostly good history). Recently had a new timing chain kit at 110,100 miles (previous owner but gave me invoice). Hi. Thank you for your reply. We have already replaced both the timing chain, camshaft adjuster and tensioner. These were Febi so I know they are decent quality. That’s a great video, that’s what I used to ensure the chain timing was perfect.

Good price for new  I had bought a low mile Sirocco R 2010 rad pack for £120 a few years back, as I wanted the revised larger intercooler........in the process it gave me a spare genuine fan pack and radiator  win win

my edition 30 has a issue when i signal right the the left signal starts to flash to along with the rear fog light. can anyone advise if they have had this issue. the car was parked for s few weeks and the battery died and had to be jumped

Hi all My seats are 2007 onwards as i only have one regulator. I have today swapped the looms over between passenger and driver seat (UK). The only plug now not connected is the blue connector 2 wire which i presume is seat occupancy sensor. My real Question is I can see the brown wires on both the plugs but ive got different coloured wires. I just want to power up lumba

Remember when my ex gf had a new Edition 30 her car had a similar noise it was one of the rollers on the cambelt.
I would remove the aux belt and see if noise stops.
